Assumptions and limitations
Net worth equals total assets minus total liabilities. Negative net worth is permitted. This is a current snapshot, not a forecast, credit assessment, or measure of available cash.
Enter each asset once at its current estimated value and each liability once at its outstanding balance. For example, list a property at its full estimated value and its mortgage separately; do not enter both property equity and the full property value.
Use values from a consistent date where possible. For jointly owned assets and debts, enter the amounts attributable to the same person or household throughout.
The tool does not verify valuations or model taxes, selling costs, withdrawal penalties, future income, or future returns. Breakdowns show each entry as a share of its own side, not as a share of net worth. Displayed percentages may not sum to exactly 100% due to rounding.
Up to 25 assets and 25 liabilities are supported, with a maximum of 100,000,000 per entry. Amounts use the selected currency precision. Empty lists count as zero.
All values must use one currency. Currency changes do not convert amounts. Inputs remain in page state only and reset on refresh; this implementation does not save entries to an account or database.
