Assumptions and limitations

All entries are monthly amounts. The remaining balance equals take-home income minus spending minus planned savings. Savings allocations are shown separately from spending.

Use income after taxes and payroll deductions. Do not subtract those same deductions again as spending or savings. Include only savings contributions funded from the income entered here.

Include each outflow once. For example, avoid counting both credit-card purchases and the payment covering those same purchases. Payments toward older card debt may be listed separately.

For irregular bills, enter a consistent monthly provision, such as one-twelfth of an annual bill. This is a planning estimate, not a record of bank transactions or a cash-flow calendar. A positive monthly balance does not ensure funds are available on every bill date.

No interest, investment returns, forecasts, automatic tax calculations, or prescribed spending percentages are included. A shortfall is a valid result, not an input error.

Each section supports up to 25 entries, with a maximum of 100,000,000 per entry. Empty lists count as zero. Amounts use integer currency minor units; displayed percentages are rounded.

Use one currency throughout. Currency changes do not convert amounts. Entries remain in page state only and reset on refresh; this implementation does not save them to an account or database.

Example amounts are illustrative. Educational estimate only, not personalized financial advice.
